Milan have confirmed that they have signed Cristian Zaccardo from Parma, with Djamel Mesbah and Rodney Strasser heading in the other direction.

The 31-year-old former Italy player, a member of the 2006 World Cup winning squad, has joined on a permanent deal.

Algerian international Mesbah has signed for the Gialloblu outright, while Strasser has moved to the Stadio Tardini on loan.
