Parma striker Dorlan Pabon will officially join Mexican club Monterrey in June, though before then he could be loaned to Deportivo La Coruna.
Monterrey cannot sign the Colombian striker straight away due to transfer limitations, so a spot can only be freed up from next season.
“A deal has been reached between Parma FC and Monterrey for the player Dorlan Pabon, who will be incorporated into our squad from June,” read a statement from the Mexican side.
“The player will undergo a medical in Parma over the next few days, then we will proceed as agreed. At the moment the Monterrey squad will remain unchanged ahead of the Clausura 2013 tournament and the CONCACAF Champions League.”
However, as Pabon is struggling in Serie A and has not yet scored a goal for the Ducali, he is likely to be loaned out for the next five months.
It is reported he could go to Deportivo La Coruna to gain consistency.
