Mario Balotelli’s agent has said “anything can happen from here until January 31 and we are keeping vigilant” after Milan dropped hints.

Rossoneri Vice-President Adriano Galliani declared today that while Didier Drogba and Ricky Kaka were “101% not coming,” the chances of snapping up Balotelli were “99.9%…”

This opened the door for the Manchester City striker and agent Mino Raiola, who has visited Milan over the last few days, added another push.

“Anything can happen from here until January 31 and we are keeping vigilant,” Raiola told Radio Deejay.

“A loan? This formula for a transfer has been ruled out by Manchester City directors. City received an offer of €40m cash during the Euros.”

It is now a race against time for Milan to find the £24m necessary or convince City to accept payment in several stages.
