Nicolas Anelka is getting closer to joining Juventus as he continues his medical ahead of a January switch.

The striker, after attending Turin’s Istituto di Medicina dello Sport yesterday, arrived at the Clinica Fornaca di Sessant this morning for day two of tests.

The 33-year-old will sign for the Italian champions on a short-term deal from Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua.
