Andrea Pirlo says he was convinced that he could pick up more honours after leaving Milan for Juventus in 2011.
The 33-year-old signed for the Old Lady on a free transfer when his contract at San Siro expired and immediately inspired them to Scudetto glory.
“I was looking for new emotions,” Pirlo stated as he was named as the 2012 Player of the Year at the Gran Gala del Calcio on Sunday. “I found them at Juventus.
“I was convinced of Juventus when I joined them and I’m still convinced of the club today,” continued the playmaker.
“The most important thing for us now is to win the Scudetto again and to obviously be competitive in Europe.”
Juve, who drew 1-1 at home to Genoa on Saturday, are three-points clear at the top of the table. They will face Celtic in the last 16 of the Champions League.
