The 18-year-old has agreed a transfer to San Siro for €11m plus a further €4m in performance-related bonuses.

“I am still shaken, as it all happened so quickly,” said the Croatian midfield prodigy.

“It is difficult for me to leave Dinamo Zagreb, as this is my home, but you cannot say no to a club like Inter.

“I still need to have a medical, but hopefully that will be purely a formality.”
