The Viola are still looking for their first victory of 2013, notching up four losses and a draw between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

“Recently we have not changed our style of football. The defeats have been flukes,” assured the Coach.

“Once again with Catania we conceded two goals from the only two scoring opportunities, while we created at least five or six. We will not change anything, as we must only continue playing and working this way until the results turn our way.”

The Tuscans have developed during the January transfer window, bringing in Momo Sissoko from PSG, Siena striker Marcelo Larrondo, Hoffenheim defender Marvin Compper, Legia midfielder Rafal Wolski and Nacional starlet Matias Vecino.

Giuseppe Rossi was also snapped up from Villarreal, but is still recovering from knee ligament surgery.

“We did not just work for the present, but also secured players who can do very well in future,” explained Montella.

“At least five players will be at their best only from next season. Emiliano Viviano? We have always had a good rapport. He had a difficult moment and I preferred to rest him. Meanwhile, Neto showed he deserves to start, even if he made a few mistakes too.”

Fiorentina squad for Parma: Borja Valero, Capezzi, Compper, Cuadrado, El Hamdaoui, Jovetic, Larrondo, Ljajic, Llama, Lupatelli, Migliaccio, Neto, Pasqual, Pizarro, Rodriguez, Romulo, Roncaglia, Savic, Tomovic, Toni, Viviano, Wolski
