Parma have revealed that they will be without first-choice goalkeeper Antonio Mirante for the next month.
The former Juventus player picked up a knee injury in the 2-0 defeat at Fiorentina on Sunday afternoon.
Mirante underwent tests on Monday which revealed meniscus damage and the decision was taken to have surgery.
Mirante, now 29, has played in 20 Serie A games this term.
