Zdenek Zeman has insisted that he feels no bitterness towards Roma after he was sacked from his post as Coach on Saturday.
The Giallorossi went down 4-2 to Cagliari on Friday, with the Czech tactician losing his place on the bench a day later.
The 65-year-old though, has admitted that the team did all they could for him.
“I do not feel abandoned by the players,” he told reporters. “The team never played against me.
“I am not happy about being sacked, that's for sure – but I've spoken with Totti and the board.
“It's nice to see the affection from the fans – I didn't expect it.”
