The Argentine forward has been out since November with a knee injury, and has yet to play under new Coach Delio Rossi.
But the 28-year-old has claimed that he is ready to start, and also commented on the form of youngster Mauro Icardi.
“I am ready and available to the Coach,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “I am regaining my fitness – the worst of it is definitely over.
“I am ready to lend a hand to the team and fight for three points.
“Icardi has great quality. The boy certainly has a great future ahead of him.”
