Hernanes insists he is not concerned at making his comeback in tonight’s Lazio-Napoli with the aid of a protective helmet.
The Brazilian was knocked unconscious in a clash of heads with Juventus midfielder Luca Marrone during the Coppa Italia semi-final.
He was given numerous stitches and diagnosed with retrograde amnesia, as he does not remember the incident, but has been given the all-clear to play with a Petr Cech-style protective helmet.
“It’s very easy to use and doesn’t annoy me. It is only a provisional thing anyway, as next week I can start playing again without it,” said the Brazilian.
“I am happy to have recovered, as initially it was thought I’d be out for 20-30 days.”
