The agent of Alessandro Diamanti has admitted that his player will consider a Bologna exit at the end of the season.
“Alessandro is loved in Bologna, but there could be some important opportunities for him in the summer,” Luca Puccinelli told Sky Sport Italia.
“If a top team came in for him then that would be a really big opportunity.
“In Italy or abroad? If he stays on the peninsula then that would help his international career as he would be seen more regularly.
“But if a major Champions League side made an offer then it wouldn’t be very intelligent to not consider such an option.”
The 29-year-old attacking midfielder, part of Cesare Prandelli’s national squad, has scored six goals in 22 League games this term.
The ex-Brescia man has already spent time abroad after he was signed by West ham United in 2009.
