“Our fans being here give us comfort and enthusiasm. You can feel the passion of the Celtic supporters, as it’s difficult to be heard in here,” he laughed.

“This is an important appointment for us, because it is the first time we are facing a challenge of this nature.

“Juventus are accustomed to certain challenges within its challenges. Evidently we must honour this match in the best possible way.”

Alessandro Matri has again been chosen to partner Mirko Vucinic after spending many weeks on the bench.
