New Napoli signing Rolando says he jumped at the chance to join the club from Porto last month.
The defender did have various offers, but he opted to test himself in Serie A with the Stadio San Paolo outfit.
“I had no doubts about coming here,” the 27-year-old stated of his loan switch. “I knew that this club would be challenging for honours in Italy and Europe.
“I want to give my contribution to that in order to help the club achieve the objectives that they have set themselves.
“I’m really happy with the squad and the city which I have found.”
The Portuguese international has yet to make his debut for Walter Mazzarri’s side, yet his insists he’s ready for action.
“The Coach will decide when I play, but I have 90 minutes in me,” he said ahead of Thursday’s Europa League game against Viktoria Plzen.
