Bologna defender Archimede Morleo has admitted that he dreams of playing for the Italian national team.
The 29-year-old full-back has yet to appear for any Azzurri age group during his career, but that hasn't stopped the Rossoblu man harbouring ambitions to turn out for Cesare Prandelli's side.
“The national team is a dream for every professional footballer,” he told reporters. “To wear the colours if the national team is an honour and great recognition.
“However, I know that to receive a call-up I have to do much, much more that what I'm showing at the moment.
“I will concentrate on the job I am doing at Bologna, and then we'll see.”
