“We’re going into a very passionate atmosphere, as Genoa can notch up 25-30 points in the second half of the season and secure safety early,” assured the Coach.
“As for us, for the third year running we are in an interesting position in the table. We must try to make the most of it, but not run before we can walk. It is much more difficult than in previous seasons.”
Muriel was lambasted by Guidolin for being overweight in pre-season and the Colombian was dropped again last week.
“Muriel is training very well to get back into shape, but I’m sorry I will continue to harass him on his physical form until he reaches peak fitness.”
Danilo is suspended, joining the injured Giampiero Pinzi, Alexander Merkel and Zeljko Brkic.
Udinese squad for Genoa: Padelli, Pawlowski, Scuffet; Angella, Basta, Benatia, Domizzi, Heurtaux, Gabriel Silva, Pasquale; Allan, Badu, Campos Toro, Faraoni, Lazzari, Merkel, Pereyra, Rodriguez; Di Natale, Maicosuel, Muriel, Ranegie, Zielinski
