Inter captain Javier Zanetti was surprised by Milan’s January capture of his former teammate Mario Balotelli.
“I didn’t expect Balotelli to join Milan,” the former Argentine international said ahead of this weekend’s derby.
“He’s a great player, but we’ll hopefully play a great defensive game against him and his teammates.”
The Italian international joined the Diavolo last month after spending two-and-a-half years in England with Manchester City.
Balotelli, who left Inter in the summer of 2010, has scored four goals in his three League games for the Diavolo.
