Verona fail in Mangia bid

Reports on Monday are suggesting that Serie B side Verona have had a bid to hire Italian Under-21 boss Devis Mangia turned down.

The promotion chasing outfit, presently third in the Second Division, are said to have had their request to speak to the tactician rejected by the Italian Football Federation.

Verona are currently bossed by Andrea Mandorlini.

The Gialloblu have collected just one point from the last nine available after consecutive losses to Vicenza and Novara.
