Juventus midfielder Simone Pepe has revealed that he may have to have an operation after injuring his quadricep.
The 29-year-old has played just one game for the Bianconeri this season having been plagued by a number of injury set-backs.
And the Italy international has admitted that he has been frustrated by his time on the sidelines this term.
“We are currently trying to solve some problems I have had,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “Luckily I have received the support of my teammates and the fans.
“I want to thank them because I wouldn't have been able to carry on without them.
“I have relapsed four times in my rehabilitation, so I think there will have to be a small operation.
“Hopefully, once that's done, I can return to playing as soon as possible.”
