Atalanta goalkeeper Andrea Consigli will be a wanted man on the transfer market at the end of the season, says his agent.
“I think that Consigli is on the shortlists of the most important clubs in Italy and Europe,” Andrea D’Amico told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“There is nothing active at this precise moment in time, but I do know for a fact that there are a lot of teams after him.”
The ‘keeper, 24 appearances in Serie A this season, is one of a number of promising young shot-stoppers to be catching the eye.
“He is a player who is ready to transfer to the highest levels and I see him as an heir to Gigi Buffon,” the representative added.
“You can already see that he was destined for success when he was a kid, especially because of the mentality he has.”
