Parma chief Tommaso Ghirardi has discussed the futures of boss Roberto Donadoni and young striker Ishak Belfodil.
The tactician continues to be linked with a summer move to Milan, but Ghirardi is confident that the Coach will remain at the Stadio Tardini.
“We’ve got a contract with him for another two years,” the President stated. “And he’s a serious and correct guy.
“I don’t see that there is a chance that he can leave us. I hope that he can take charge of Milan one day, but he belongs to us right now.”
Ghirardi was also questioned about Belfodil, a player who Juventus attempted to sign in the January transfer window.
“He’s one of the surprises of the Italian championship. He’s already scored seven goals in Serie A this season.
“He’s young and needs to mature, but Juve are alert to him. That makes us proud.”
There was a suggestion that the Italian champions offered Fabio Quagliarella to Parma in exchange for the striker.
“He’s a great player, but I don’t think that he’d want to join a lower level club if he was to leave Juventus.
“What is certain is that he’s having an excellent season and we like him a lot.”
