Torino have confirmed that they have started discussions with the agent of star striker Rolando Bianchi.
The latter only has a matter of months left on his contract which means he could leave the club on a free transfer in the summer.
“We met with Riccardo, his brother and agent, last week,” Toro President Urbano Cairo noted. “We are discussing a few things and we’ll meet again soon.”
The centre-forward, signed by the Turin side in 2008 after spells at Manchester City and Lazio, is the club’s highest earner thanks to his €1.3m a season salary.
The 30-year-old, a former Italian Under-21 international, has been paired with a return to Atalanta – the club where his career began.
