The Corriere Mercantile is reporting that Genoa have agreed terms to sign Giovanni Marchese from Catania.

The 28-year-old is available on a Bosman free transfer in the summer and it is being claimed that he’s already put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the Rossoblu.

The full-back, one goal in 20 Serie A games this term, was also understood to be of interest to Fiorentina.
