Inter defender Matias Silvestre is set for a 20-day spell on the sidelines, according to Tuttosport.

The Argentine is struggling with a calf issue that will take about three weeks to recover from.

Centre-back Silvestre has had a problematic first campaign at San Siro following his summer move from Palermo.

The 28-year-old has only made six appearances in Serie A this season, of which only four came from the first minute.
