Fiorentina defender Michele Camporese will be out of action for a further three months after a knee operation, club doctors have confirmed today.
The 20-year-old went under the knife on Monday after fracturing his patella tendon, and the Viola's chief medical officer has revealed that his season is over whilst he enters rehabilitation.
“Michele Camporese was discharged today after surgery,” Paolo Manetti told the club's official website.
“The recovery time for this sort of injury is around three months.
“So unfortunately, his season is over. However, he will start next season with no problems at all.”
