It’s reported that Italy have chosen the Barradao stadium as their training camp for the Confederations Cup this summer.
The Azzurri will be in Brazil for the tournament as representatives of Europe, seeing as Spain hold both the Euro and World titles.
They are in Group A with Brazil, Japan and Mexico in the competition that runs from June 15-30.
According to the latest reports in Brazil, Italy sent a delegation to visit the Barradao, which is the home of club side Vitoria in Salvador de Bahia.
The full name of the arena is the Estadio Manoel Barradas, but it is commonly referred to as the Barradao.
