Pulga fears 'surreal' Is Arenas

Cagliari Coach Ivo Pulga is afraid he’ll find “a surreal atmosphere” against Torino, as the Is Arenas is locked down.

The stadium again failed security checks and therefore the game will be played behind closed doors.

“It’s going to be a surreal atmosphere in an empty stadium and we need to find the right approach for this game,” said Pulga.

“We know how Torino play, as they keep possession and attack with four players at all times. We must try to block off their creative centres, without allowing counter-attacks.”

Thiago Ribeiro is out injured, but Daniele Conti, Davide Astori and Daniele Dessena all return from suspension.

“There will be some changes. Marco Sau is scoring regularly and Victor Ibarbo does not give opponents any reference points. The squad is large and competitive.”

Cagliari squad for Torino: Agazzi, Avramov; Ariaudo, Astori, Avelar, Perico, Pisano, Rossettini; Cabrera, Casarini, Conti, Cossu, Dessena, Ekdal, Eriksson, Nainggolan; Ibarbo, Nenè, Pinilla, Sau
