Inter are ready to offer John Carew a short-term deal until the end of the season, according to reports in Italy this evening.

Calcio News claim that the Nerazzurri will offer the 33-year-old €300,000 to play until the culmination of the current campaign, as a replacement for the injured Diego Milito.

The former Roma striker is a free agent after being released by West Ham United.
