Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini blasted Lazio patron Claudio Lotito and revealed he recalled Gian Piero Gasperini because he’s “the most desperate man in Italy.”
Zamparini shocked many by sacking Coach Alberto Malesani and bringing back Gasperini just 19 days after dismissing the ex-Inter tactician.
Lazio President Lotito criticised the decision on Monday, noting “this was made looking at the short-term, but I prefer to look at the long-term effect.”
Zamparini took to Radio 2 to reply and stated: “I want to do everything in life, except take lessons from Lotito. That I can be sure of. How would I define him? Amusing.
“At the moment I am the most desperate man in Italy and these situations force you to make desperate choices.”
