Alessandro Florenzi has urged his Roma side to not ‘waste’ the victories over Juventus and Atalanta.

“We are doing well right now, but we need to be consistent if we are to qualify for Europe,” stated the midfielder to the Corriere dello Sport.

“After victories against Juventus and Atalanta, we have to now continue on this path and beat Genoa. We must continue our winning streak.”

Roma, bossed by caretaker Aurelio Andreazzoli, have struggled for consistency for the majority of the campaign.

Before the win in Bergamo on Sunday, Roma had only managed to put together a series of at least two League victories twice this season.

Roma are eighth in Serie A, seven points adrift of the Champions League zone and four away from a Europa League spot.
