Milan have confirmed that Stephan El Shaarawy has put pen to paper on a new contract at the club until June 2018.

The outfit have released no further details, but it is understood that the fresh terms will see his current €800,000 annual salary increase.

The Italian international, still just 20, was previously contracted to the Diavolo until June 2017.

El Shaarawy, signed from Genoa in 2011, is the club’s top scorer this season thanks to 16 goals in 25 League games so far.
