Chievo Coach Eugenio Corini is not fooled by Fiorentina’s stuttering form and warns “they are not having problems.”

The Viola threw away a lead to be beaten 2-1 by relegation battlers Bologna on Tuesday, as their game was postponed from Sunday due to snow.

“I absolutely would not talk about a Fiorentina side that is having problems just because they lost to Bologna,” said Corini.

“The Fiorentina I saw two weeks ago against Inter was spectacular. This is a very strong side that could be dubbed a ‘perfect machine’ on home turf. Aside from the defeat to Pescara, which was bizarre anyway, they’ve been unstoppable at the Stadio Franchi.

“They can also count on a crucial player like David Pizarro, who was suspended last week, as even the statistics show how important he is to them. We are aware of the difficulties we are going into, as it’ll take a great performance to bring home any positive result.”

Perparim Hetemaj sits out a ban for the Flying Donkeys and Corini hinted he’ll stick with the five-man defence, which turns into a 3-5-2 when attacking.
