Andrea Ranocchia has appeared before an FIGC hearing today to comment on alleged match-fixing during his time at Bari.
The Inter defender was brought before the governing body's prosecution this afternoon in relation to a match-fixing complaint directed towards Bari's away match with Salternitana on May 23 2009.
“I am pleased to have been brought here so I can clarify my position,” he insisted. “I have answered all the questions directed at me, and I hope the issue will be closed soon.
“I am totally unrelated [to this alleged incident].
“I just want to think about playing.”
Ranocchia spent two season on-loan at the Galletti between 2008 and 2010.
