Davide Ballardini blasted the referee after Genoa’s defeat to Milan and claimed “we should’ve had three penalties.”
The Rossoblu were beaten 2-0 on home turf last night and were unable to break back into the game even after Kevin Constant was sent off.
“We should’ve had three penalties,” slammed the Coach. “If a referee doesn’t give them, then that can happen, but they seemed clear to me.
“I would love for an English or Scottish referee to officiate these games. It’s not right that the referee doesn’t even know who Juraj Kucka is, yet calls some colleagues from the big clubs by their first names.
“After the last two games, in which we picked up fewer points than we deserved, we are even more determined to achieve our objective.
“Genoa played well against a Milan side in good shape. We were missing important players in midfield, but the lads still gave their all and it’s a shame that a game like this had to end with this result.
“It is all going well for Milan and we hope their luck can continue in Barcelona, as all of Italy is cheering them on. It’s not easy to score against the Rossoneri at the moment, as we had more shots on target than Barcelona did.”
