Palermo have one foot in Serie B, but there are reports they could sack Gian Piero Gasperini for a second time to recall Giuseppe Sannino.
The Sicilians lost today’s relegation dogfight with Siena on home turf and are joint bottom of the table with Pescara.
Their situation is dire and it will take a miracle for them to avoid the drop, but that won’t necessarily stop more changes.
Sannino started the season on the Palermo bench only to be fired after just three games.
Gian Piero Gasperini was called in, fired on February 4 to make way for Alberto Malesani and then re-hired 19 days later.
Now there are reports that Palermo could recall their first Coach Sannino to the Stadio Barbera.
