Dusan Basta has denied quotes attributed to him where he talks of a desire to leave Udinese for Roma.
Reports this morning claimed that the Serbian said he was “prepared to walk to Roma” but he’s rejected that speculation.
“With all due respect to the Giallorossi, I’ve never said that I want to or could leave Udine at the end of the season,” he noted.
“I’ve not given any statements or interviews over the last few days and I have never talked about transfers in my career.
“Therefore, should you read similar statements in the future you will know that they do not correspond with the truth.
“As I have always said in the past, but perhaps it will be useful to underline this, I’m happy in Udine. My family and I have everything that we need.
“I’m certainly not thinking about changing shirts at the end of the season.”
