Bojan Krkic thinks Milan could still be in the Champions League this morning had M’Baye Niang not hit the post against Barcelona.

The Spanish giants overturned their 2-0 first leg deficit at the Camp Nou last night with a stunning 4-0 win over the Diavolo.

However, with the score at 1-0 on Tuesday, the young French striker hit the frame of the goal with one of Milan’s rare strikes.

“If the ball had gone in then the tie may have ended in a different manner,” Bojan, who belongs to Barcelona, told Milan Channel.

“Barcelona are a great team, but they are human,” he added. “I’m disappointed with how the game went.

“We were very happy with our display at San Siro and to come here with an advantage. We battled, but this is football.”

Now out of Europe, Bojan wants to make sure that the Rossoneri will be back in the competition next season.

“Now we need to think about the championship,” he stated ahead of this weekend’s clash against Palermo.

Third-placed Milan currently occupy the last remaining Champions League spot in Serie A.
