Cavani would boost Real revenue

Real Madrid see the possible summer signing of Napoli’s Edinson Cavani as a key acquisition in terms of their revenue status.

According to Sport Economy, the capture of the Uruguayan hitman would be in part to maintain the outfit’s €500m annual revenue.

The Spanish capital outfit have been regularly linked with the former Palermo player over the last 18 months.

Cavani’s future at the Stadio San Paolo is in some doubt given that he has a €63m release clause in his contract.

Manchester City, amongst other top European clubs, have also been paired with the 26-year-old international striker.
