Mattia Destro's agent has refused to reveal whether the young striker will be fit for the derby match against Lazio in April.
The 21-year-old has been out of action since January with a knee injury, but despite the Italy international's recovery being on track, his representative has declined to comment on the prospect of the forward returning in time for April 8.
“The player is fine and everything is going according to plan,” Renzo Contratto told romanews. “Everything is going to schedule.
“I don't want to say too much [about derby fitness]. In these situations you should never be in a hurry.
“He must only come back when he's 100 per cent fit.
“It is true that the derby is a special game in Rome, but it is also true that it is a game worth three points like any other.”
