Giuseppe Rossi's agent has claimed that his client is in high spirits after he finally arrived in Florence.
The striker, who signed for Fiorentina from Villarreal in January, has been in his native America working with a knee specialist.
But the forward is now in Italy, and his representative has revealed that it shouldn't be long before the 26-year-old can make his debut.
“Giuseppe's mood has remained high,” Andrea Pastorello told Sky Sport Italia. “Even during the long period of injury.
“He is a balanced boy and is happy to be back in Italy.
“We have finally arrived and he hopes to be able to do his best on the field.
“Montella wanted him to be in Florence, and we're happy.”
