Roma captain Francesco Totti has once again refused to be drawn on Cesare Prandelli's claims that he could be re-called to the national team.

The Azzurri boss admitted earlier this week that the Giallorossi legend was deserving of a re-call after his impressive season for the capital club.

But the veteran forward has conceded that he could call it day at the end of next season, meaning no place in the World Cup squad.

“It may be that in a year I stop,” he told reporters. “But I'll only know when Prandelli calls me [what his position is].”

The 36-year-old also commented on his fitness this term, personal ambitions, as well as Juventus' charge to the top of Serie A.

“My fitness has depended a lot this season on the preparation of [former Coach Zdenek] Zeman, and also a special diet.

“My biggest dream is to play in the Champions League again with Roma, but we'll see.

“Scudetto? Juventus have already won.”
