No club has made Milan or Antonio Nocerino an offer regarding a summer move, but the player’s agent has opened the door for Napoli.
“Nocerino hasn’t been a regular fixture in the side since Christmas,” Marco Sommella told Radio Kiss Kiss on Wednesday.
“It is never a nice thing to lose your first-team shirt, but we are here and ready to accept the choices of the Coach.”
Reports this morning suggested that the former Palermo and Juventus man could be targeted by hometown club Napoli at the end of the season.
“We can never say never,” the representative continued. “If the Azzurri want Antonio to strengthen their midfield then we have to be happy about that.
“However, for now, neither we nor Milan have received any offers for his services.”
The 27-year-old, signed for just €500,000 on transfer deadline day in 2011, has started just 14 League games this term for the Diavolo.
