Milan have announced Gennaro Gattuso will return to San Siro for a final salute when Sion play a friendly on Friday.
The midfielder left the club when his contract expired last summer and is now the player-manager at Swiss outfit Sion FC.
“As we realised how many fans wanted to see the game to salute Gattuso, we decided to have the game at San Siro with free entry,” explained Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani.
The friendly will kick off at 14.00 GMT on Friday afternoon.
