Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has claimed that he has never had to deal with the problem of racism in Rome.
The capital club have had to play two of their Europa League games this season behind closed doors after bad behaviour from their fans.
But the Nigeria international has insisted that racism has not been an issue for him.
“In Italy the problem of racism is felt very much,” he said during a question and answer on Twitter.
“But I must say that I have never had a problem with that unpleasant situation in Rome.
“Here, the fans are wonderful.”
