Barzagli: 'Right attitude in Malta'

Andrea Barzagli warns Italy “need the right attitude” in Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier against Malta.

The Azzurri fought back from 2-0 down for a thrilling 2-2 friendly draw with Brazil on Thursday.

“We played a great game against Brazil, but now we need the right attitude in Malta,” said the Juventus defender.

“It is going to be a difficult match and it would be a terrible mistake to lose focus or take the wrong approach to the three points.”

Daniele De Rossi and Pablo Daniel Osvaldo have left the Italy camp, as they are suspended for the Malta trip.

However, Alessandro Florenzi was promoted from the Under-21 squad and started training at Coverciano today.
