Lazio goalkeeper Federico Marchetti is undergoing tests after sustaining a shoulder injury during his training session with Italy.
The shot-stopper fell awkwardly when practicing saves at the Coverciano camp and went off early clutching his right shoulder.
Marchetti has been taken by the medical staff for further tests.
He was unlikely to play against Malta in Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier, but the injury could be a problem for Lazio next weekend.
