Mathieu Flamini has praised Milan teammates Mattia De Sciglio and Mario Balotelli. “He’s a modern striker.”
The French midfielder spoke to Sky Sport Italia on the current crop of young Italians progressing from Milan to the Azzurri.
“De Sciglio is doing very well. He is a simple and discreet lad, so it pleases me. I consider him to be ‘ready’ for the big time and this season he is the young player who has amazed me the most,” said the former Arsenal man.
“As for Balotelli, he proved over the last few games that he is a modern striker who is not only capable of scoring, but also helping the team play with great technique and quality.”
