Cristian Molinaro says he could leave Stuttgart at the end of the season in a bid to find regular first team football.

The 29-year-old’s contract with the Bundesliga club expires in June 2014 and his future is thus in some doubt.

“We’ll see what happens in June,” the left-back, who moved to Germany from Juventus” data-scaytid=”4″>Juventus in 2010, told Bild. “Anything is possible.

“This club is my family, I feel at home here, but I have played less this term than in the previous seasons at Stuttgart.

“I respect the decisions of the Coach, but I’m 29 and, at my age, I just want to play more football.”

Molinaro, who would be available on a free transfer in 2014 should he not sign a contract extension, could consider a return to Italy.

He started his career at Salernitana, he then joined Siena in 2005 and moved on to the Old Lady two years later.
