Massimo Ambrosini will make no decision about his future until he has held talks with current club Milan.
The veteran, 35, is only tied to the Rossoneri until June and he was yesterday linked with a possible move to Swiss side Sion.
“It’s the first time that I’ve heard about that option,” agent Moreno Roggi told calciomercato.it. “I really know nothing about it.
“However, when you consider Massimo’s desire to continue playing at the highest levels, I don’t think that rumour has a future.
“It’s his intention to wait for Milan. And, like every year, the directors will wait until the end of the season to discuss contract renewals.”
Sion signed Gennaro Gattuso last summer when his contract with the Diavolo expired.
