Bartosz Salamon is now hoping to make his Milan debut after winning his first cap for Poland on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old has yet to make an appearance for the Diavolo since his January move from Serie B side Brescia.
“I’m very happy with my debut, it’s great to play for your national side in front of the fans,” he stated after playing 87 minutes of the 5-0 win over San Marino.
“We scored a few goals and didn’t concede – it was a perfect night.
“Milan? I’d like to play with continuity,” added the defensive midfielder who can also be used as a centre-back.
“I’m training hard and I’m waiting for my Rossonero debut. I hope that someone from Milan watched me in action for Poland!”
